I ask a lot of questions and then assess your posture and movements. Once I have found what needs addressing, I make appropriate corrections to your body. I will then design a set of exercises for you to work on at home to make sure that the corrections I make stick. I test and don’t guess. Your body gets what it
needs.

Everybody is welcome at any of my classes. Listening to your body is an important part of giving it what it need to feel better. You are not expected to work beyond your comfort range.

Initial consultations are 90 minutes long. follow-up sessions are 60 minutes. Group Pilates sessions are 60 minutes.

It depends on how complicated it is to sort out what you have wrong with you, how often and how well you do the homework exercises. It also depends how much you would like help fixing, some people are happy with the main complaint resolved, others want to go deeper. As a guide, most people come for three consulations.

I have a 24 hours notice if you need to re-schedule a session. You won’t be charged for a session that you re-schedule with more than 24 hours notice. The full session fee will be charged to clients who cancel or re-schedule a session with less than 24 hours notice, or who fail to show up for their appointment. If you’re sick or unwell, or if any unforeseen emergency or circumstance occurs, then these are of course taken into consideration if you have to cancel or reschedule a session with short notice.

If you and some friends would like to come for regular classes in a safe, clean environment I’d be happy to arrange that with you. I currently teach a couple of mother and baby groups and some groups of school mums.

Though I am not a physio the courses that I have taken over the past 10 years have given me a level of knowledge of anatomy and therapy that makes me well qualified to successfully assess and treat a multitude of conditions.
